एमएचएडीए ने भागीरथी हाउसिंग प्राइवेट लिमिटेड और मथी डेवलपर्स के साथ समझौता किया; ऐतिहासिक कामाठीपुरा के नियोजित पुनर्विकास में एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि

मुंबई, 17 सितंबर, 2026: दक्षिण-मध्य मुंबई में स्थित ऐतिहासिक कामाठीपुरा क्लस्टर पुनर्विकास परियोजना के कार्यान्वयन को आज महत्वपूर्ण गति मिली। महाराष्ट्र आवास एवं क्षेत्र विकास प्राधिकरण (एमएचएडीए) के मुंबई भवन मरम्मत एवं पुनर्निर्माण बोर्ड (एमबीआरआरबी) के माध्यम से परियोजना के कार्यान्वयन के लिए भागीरथी हाउसिंग प्राइवेट लिमिटेड और मथी डेवलपर्स के साथ आज एक निर्माण एवं विकास एजेंसी (सी एंड डी एग्रीमेंट) समझौता हस्ताक्षरित किया गया। इस समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर के साथ, परियोजना योजना चरण से वास्तविक कार्यान्वयन की ओर बढ़ गई है, और दिवाली के शुभ अवसर पर परियोजना पर भौतिक कार्य शुरू होने वाला है।

यह समझौता बांद्रा स्थित एमएचएडीए मुख्यालय में एमएचएडीए के उपाध्यक्ष और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी श्री संजीव जायसवाल की उपस्थिति में हस्ताक्षरित किया गया। मुंबई भवन मरम्मत एवं पुनर्निर्माण बोर्ड के मुख्य अधिकारी श्री मिलिंद शंभार्कर और विकास कंपनी के निदेशक श्री अतुल गोयल ने भी समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस अवसर पर एमएचएडीए और बोर्ड के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी, संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारी, मेसर्स भागीरथी हाउसिंग प्राइवेट लिमिटेड और मेसर्स मथी डेवलपर्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के निदेशक और विकास कंपनियों के प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे।

इस अवसर पर एमएचएडीए के उपाध्यक्ष और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी श्री संजीव जायसवाल ने बोर्ड और विकास कंपनियों के अधिकारियों को बधाई दी और कहा कि सी एंड डी एग्रीमेंट कमाठीपुरा के पुनर्विकास को योजना चरण से वास्तविक कार्यान्वयन की ओर ले जाने में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। नागरिकों की सुरक्षा, गरिमा और आधुनिक जीवन स्तर इस परियोजना का मूलमंत्र है। एमएचएडीए का उद्देश्य कमाठीपुरा की ऐतिहासिक पहचान को संरक्षित करते हुए एक आधुनिक, टिकाऊ और नागरिक-केंद्रित पड़ोस का निर्माण करना है। यह परियोजना नागरिक भागीदारी, पारदर्शिता और गुणवत्तापूर्ण कार्यान्वयन के माध्यम से आगे बढ़ाई जाएगी।

Significant Impetus to Implementation of Kamathipura Cluster Redevelopment Project  C&DA Agreement Signed

MHADA signs agreement with Bhagirathi Housing Pvt. Ltd. and Mathi Developers; a significant milestone achieved in the planned redevelopment of  historic  Kamathipura

Mumbai,  September 17, 2026: The implementation of the historic Kamathipura  Cluster  Redevelopment Project in  South-Central Mumbai received a significant impetus today. A Construction  &  Development  Agency (C&DA)  agreement  was signed today with Bhagirathi  Housing  Pvt. Ltd. and Mathi  Developers  for the implementation  of the project through the Mumbai Building Repairs and Reconstruction  Board (MBRRB) of the Maharashtra  Housing  and Area Development Authority (MHADA). With the signing of this agreement, the project has moved from the  planning stage  towards  actual  implementation, and  physical  work on the project is scheduled to commence on the auspicious  occasion  of Diwali.

The agreement  was signed at  MHADA Headquarters  in Bandra  in the presence  of  MHADA  Vice  President and  Chief Executive  Officer  Shri Sanjeev Jaiswal.  Shri  Milind Shambharkar,  Chief Officer  Mumbai Building  Repairs  and  Reconstruction Board,  and Shri  Atul  Goyal,  Director of the developer  company,  signed the agreement.  Senior officers of  MHADA and the Board, officers from the concerned  departments,  directors of M/s Bhagirathi  Housing  Pvt. Ltd. and M/s  Mathi  Developers  Pvt. Ltd., and representatives of the developers were present on the occasion.

On the occasion, MHADA Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Shri Sanjeev Jaiswal congratulated the officers of the Board and the developers and said that the C&DA agreement marks a significant step in taking the redevelopment of Kamathipura from the planning stage towards actual implementation. The safety, dignity and modern quality of life of citizens are at the core of this project. MHADA aims to create a modern, sustainable and citizen-centric  neighbourhood  while preserving the historic identity of Kamathipura. The  project  will be taken forward through  citizen participation,  transparency  and quality  implementation.
