Khalid Mamu Condemns Mangal Prabhat Lodha’s Statement, Cites Constitutional Rights of Muslims

Khalid Mamu has Strongly Criticised the Recent Statement attributed to Maharashtra Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, suggesting that Muslims who wish to read the Qur'an should “Go to Pakistan.”

Expressing deep disappointment, Khalid Mamu Said such remarks are not only divisive but also violate the spirit of India’s democracy and secularism.

He Emphasized that the Constitution of India Guarantees every Citizen the freedom to Practice and Profess their religion, irrespective of faith.

Khalid Mamu highlighted Articles 25, 26, and 27 of the Indian Constitution, which clearly protect the rights of Muslims—and all communities—to practice their religion freely within India.

खालिद मामू ने महाराष्ट्र के मंत्री मंगल प्रभात लोढ़ा के हालिया बयान की कड़ी आलोचना की है, जिसमें उन्होंने कुरान पढ़ने के इच्छुक मुसलमानों को "पाकिस्तान चले जाने" का सुझाव दिया है।

गहरी निराशा व्यक्त करते हुए खालिद मामू ने कहा कि ऐसी टिप्पणियां न केवल विभाजनकारी हैं बल्कि भारत के लोकतंत्र और धर्मनिरपेक्षता की भावना का भी उल्लंघन करती हैं।

उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि भारत का संविधान प्रत्येक नागरिक को अपने धर्म का पालन करने और उसे मानने की स्वतंत्रता की गारंटी देता है, चाहे उनका धर्म कोई भी हो।

खालिद मामू ने भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 25, 26 और 27 का हवाला दिया, जो स्पष्ट रूप से मुसलमानों और सभी समुदायों को भारत में स्वतंत्र रूप से अपने धर्म का पालन करने के अधिकार की रक्षा करते हैं।
