What Will Happen To The Four Congress Corporators Who Joined the BJP?

With Reservation Changes wiping out their Wards, the Party Now faces a Rehabilitation dilemma

Mumbai (Special Correspondent): The Reservation list for the Upcoming Mumbai Municipal Corporation Elections has been Announced, and the biggest Setback has fallen on four Former Congress Corporators — including the former Leader of Opposition — Who had Recently Joined the BJP.

Their wards have Now Completely disappeared due to reservation restructuring.

With their Original Wards no longer Available, the BJP is Now faced with the challenge of deciding where these Former Corporators Should be Rehabilitated.

As a Result, a Major Question before the Party is: From which Ward Should Former Leader of Opposition Ravi Raja, Rajendra Narwankar, and Jagdish Amin Kutty be Given Candidature?

After Several Former Corporators from the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Started Joining the Shinde Faction, the BJP began inducting Former Congress Corporators into its fold.

Among the first to Join Were Former Corporators Rajendra Narwankar from Mumbai Central, Jagdish Amin Kutty From Marol, and Opposition Leader Ravi Raja From Antop Hill

Congress leader Rajendra Narwankar Was Earlier Elected from Ward 216.

Previously, this ward was reserved for OBC Candidates, but it has Now been reserved for OBC Women.

Due to this Change, Narwankar will have to look for Another Ward.

He May Get an Opportunity in the Neighbouring open Ward 217. Additionally, Ward 219 has Now become an OBC-Reserved Ward.

Though it is theoretically Possible to Rehabilitate Narwankar through the Malabar Hill ward, it remains Unclear Whether Such Rehabilitation will Actually happen.

Since both Ravi Raja And Rajendra Narwankar have lost their respective wards due to the New reservation system, uncertainty surrounds where they will be Accommodated.

However, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has Personally assured them that they will not be left in the cold, Prompting further Speculation on what their Next wards might be.
