Haji Mudassar Patel Meets Chief Minister After Central Railway Notice

 Requesting Immediate Relief for Slum Dwellers 

Mumbai: After the Central Railway Administration issued Notices for the demolition of slums located along the Kurla–Trombay (Burmasel) railway line, thousands of Poor Residents in the Area have been Gripped by Anxiety. 

In view of this Situation, Haji Mudassar Patel, Maharashtra Vice President of the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction), Met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and submitted a letter requesting immediate relief for the residents and the formulation of a permanent rehabilitation plan. 

The Chief Minister assured him that appropriate steps would be taken.

Haji Mudassar Patel also travelled to Delhi to meet senior railway officials. 

He Submitted a Memorandum at the office of Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Met Additional Secretary Vikas Jain. 

He further Met senior officials of Central Railway in Mumbai, including the Divisional Railway Manager, and urged them to halt the demolition process.

Speaking on the issue, Haji Mudassar Patel Said that Devendra Fadnavis is not only the head of Maharashtra but also a leader with a Compassionate heart. 

Under his leadership, the state is reaching new heights of development, and he is confident that the Chief Minister will provide relief to the poor residents and ensure their permanent rehabilitation.

He Explained that Central Railway has issued notices to remove slum settlements along the Kurla–Trombay (Burmasel) railway line, affecting more than 2250 houses. 

Thousands of poor families have been living there for nearly 25 years.

In this regard, representatives of Adarsh Foundation and the Indira Nagar Development Committee, along with other responsible persons, approached Haji Mudassar Patel and requested his support.

He added that the Notice was issued on January 27, after which he wrote to the Chief Minister on February 6 and later met him in person. 

He stated that issuing demolition orders with only a few days’ notice is unjust and has created fear among thousands of residents.

Therefore, he urged the authorities to take appropriate steps to provide relief and to prepare a permanent rehabilitation plan.

Haji Mudassar Patel further demanded that the concerned administration be directed to act with sensitivity and humanity, keeping in mind the difficult circumstances of thousands of poor families, and to ensure their welfare in accordance with Maharashtra government policies.

झुग्गीवासियों के लिए तत्काल राहत की मांग

मुंबई: केंद्रीय रेलवे प्रशासन द्वारा कुर्ला-ट्रोम्बे (बर्मासेल) रेलवे लाइन के किनारे स्थित झुग्गियों को ध्वस्त करने के नोटिस जारी करने के बाद, क्षेत्र के हजारों गरीब निवासी चिंता में डूब गए हैं।

इस स्थिति को देखते हुए, राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी (अजीत पवार गुट) के महाराष्ट्र उपाध्यक्ष हाजी मुदस्सर पटेल ने मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस से मुलाकात की और निवासियों के लिए तत्काल राहत और एक स्थायी पुनर्वास योजना बनाने का अनुरोध करते हुए एक पत्र सौंपा।

मुख्यमंत्री ने उन्हें आश्वासन दिया कि उचित कदम उठाए जाएंगे।

हाजी मुदस्सर पटेल वरिष्ठ रेलवे अधिकारियों से मिलने के लिए दिल्ली भी गए।

उन्होंने केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव के कार्यालय में एक ज्ञापन सौंपा और अतिरिक्त सचिव विकास जैन से मुलाकात की।

उन्होंने मुंबई में संभागीय रेलवे प्रबंधक सहित केंद्रीय रेलवे के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों से मुलाकात की और उनसे विध्वंस प्रक्रिया रोकने का आग्रह किया।

इस मुद्दे पर बोलते हुए हाजी मुदस्सर पटेल ने कहा कि देवेंद्र फडणवीस न केवल महाराष्ट्र के प्रमुख हैं, बल्कि एक करुणामय हृदय वाले नेता भी हैं।

उनके नेतृत्व में राज्य विकास की नई ऊंचाइयों को छू रहा है और उन्हें विश्वास है कि मुख्यमंत्री गरीब निवासियों को राहत प्रदान करेंगे और उनके स्थायी पुनर्वास को सुनिश्चित करेंगे।

उन्होंने बताया कि केंद्रीय रेलवे ने कुर्ला-ट्रॉम्बे (बर्मासेल) रेलवे लाइन के किनारे बनी झुग्गी बस्तियों को हटाने के लिए नोटिस जारी किए हैं, जिससे 2250 से अधिक घर प्रभावित हुए हैं।

हजारों गरीब परिवार लगभग 25 वर्षों से वहां रह रहे हैं।

इस संबंध में, आदर्श फाउंडेशन और इंदिरा नगर विकास समिति के प्रतिनिधियों ने अन्य जिम्मेदार व्यक्तियों के साथ हाजी मुदस्सर पटेल से संपर्क किया और उनका समर्थन मांगा।

उन्होंने आगे बताया कि नोटिस 27 जनवरी को जारी किया गया था, जिसके बाद उन्होंने 6 फरवरी को मुख्यमंत्री को पत्र लिखा और बाद में उनसे व्यक्तिगत रूप से मुलाकात की। 

उन्होंने कहा कि महज कुछ दिनों के पूर्व सूचना पर विध्वंस आदेश जारी करना अन्यायपूर्ण है और इससे हजारों निवासियों में भय का माहौल बन गया है।

इसलिए, उन्होंने अधिकारियों से राहत प्रदान करने और स्थायी पुनर्वास योजना तैयार करने के लिए उचित कदम उठाने का आग्रह किया।

हाजी मुदस्सर पटेल ने आगे मांग की कि संबंधित प्रशासन को हजारों गरीब परिवारों की कठिन परिस्थितियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए संवेदनशीलता और मानवता के साथ कार्य करने और महाराष्ट्र सरकार की नीतियों के अनुसार उनके कल्याण को सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया जाए।
