Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Flags Off Over 1200 Advanced Vehicles For Mumbai Police Force

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday flagged off over 1200 advanced vehicles for the Mumbai Police Force at Nariman Point. At the inaugural Ceremony, CM Fadnavis was accompanied by Ministers Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Yogesh Kadam, among other dignitaries.

According to the  Mumbai Police  the CM flagged off 633 four-wheelers and 657  motorcycles  at Nariman Point, strengthening the Mumbai Police’s people-centric response and on-ground readiness.

"These additions will enable us to respond faster, more effectively, and efficiently, further reinforcing the safety and security of our citizens."

Speaking on the features of these advanced vehicles, S. Jayakumar, Joint Commissioner of Police, Mumbai Police, told  IANS  that all these vehicles have a mobile data terminal, a vehicle tracking system, and a GPS

Moreover, he also added that four motorcycles, four Scorpio Neos, and a Mobile One Van will be added to all police stations, thus reducing the response time during an emergency.

He further added that currently, the response time of Mumbai Police is 5.30 minutes, however, with these additions, the response time will also be reduced.

Apart from this, Maharashtra CM virtually inaugurated the Tardeo-Nagpada- Mumbai Central flyover, a key East-West connecting link in south Mumbai that offers commuters a smoother alternative route.

The Earlier 130-year-old British-Era bridge at Mumbai Central had been declared dangerous and was subsequently dismantled.

The New flyover is expected to restore the east-west connectivity disrupted for the past two years and ease congestion on Jehangir Boman Behram Road (earlier Bellasis Road), Dr Dadasaheb Bhadkamkar Marg (Grant Road), Pathe Bapurao Marg and the Mahalaxmi station bridge.

The flyover connects Tardeo, Nagpada and Mumbai Central railway station.

The BMC Completed the flyover near Mumbai  Central  railway  station  in a record 15 months and six days.

मुंबई: महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने गुरुवार को नरीमन पॉइंट पर मुंबई पुलिस बल के लिए 1200 से अधिक आधुनिक वाहनों को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। उद्घाटन समारोह में मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस के साथ मंत्री मंगल प्रभात लोढ़ा, योगेश कदम और अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित थे।

मुंबई पुलिस के अनुसार, मुख्यमंत्री ने नरीमन पॉइंट पर 633 चार पहिया वाहनों और 657 मोटरसाइकिलों को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया, जिससे मुंबई पुलिस की जन-केंद्रित प्रतिक्रिया और जमीनी स्तर पर तत्परता मजबूत हुई है।

"इन वाहनों के जुड़ने से हम तेजी से, अधिक प्रभावी ढंग से और कुशलता से प्रतिक्रिया दे सकेंगे, जिससे हमारे नागरिकों की सुरक्षा और संरक्षा और भी मजबूत होगी।"

इन आधुनिक वाहनों की विशेषताओं के बारे में बताते हुए, मुंबई पुलिस के संयुक्त आयुक्त एस. जयकुमार ने IANS को बताया कि इन सभी वाहनों में मोबाइल डेटा टर्मिनल, वाहन ट्रैकिंग सिस्टम और जीपीएस लगा हुआ है।

 इसके अलावा, उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि सभी पुलिस थानों में चार मोटरसाइकिल, चार स्कॉर्पियो नियो और एक मोबाइल वन वैन तैनात की जाएंगी, जिससे आपातकालीन स्थिति में प्रतिक्रिया समय कम हो जाएगा।

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि वर्तमान में मुंबई पुलिस का प्रतिक्रिया समय 5.30 मिनट है, लेकिन इन अतिरिक्त सुविधाओं के साथ प्रतिक्रिया समय में भी कमी आएगी।

इसके अलावा, महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री ने वर्चुअल माध्यम से तारदेव-नागपाड़ा-मुंबई सेंट्रल फ्लाईओवर का उद्घाटन किया, जो दक्षिण मुंबई में पूर्व-पश्चिम को जोड़ने वाला एक महत्वपूर्ण मार्ग है और यात्रियों को सुगम वैकल्पिक मार्ग प्रदान करता है।

मुंबई सेंट्रल में स्थित 130 साल पुराना ब्रिटिश-युग का पुल खतरनाक घोषित कर दिया गया था और बाद में उसे तोड़ दिया गया था।

नए फ्लाईओवर से पिछले दो वर्षों से बाधित पूर्व-पश्चिम संपर्क बहाल होने और जहांगीर बोमन बहराम रोड (पूर्व में बेलासिस रोड), डॉ. दादासाहेब भडकामकर मार्ग (ग्रांट रोड), पाथे बापूराव मार्ग और महालक्ष्मी स्टेशन पुल पर भीड़भाड़ कम होने की उम्मीद है।

यह फ्लाईओवर तारदेव, नागपाड़ा और मुंबई सेंट्रल रेलवे स्टेशन को जोड़ता है।

 बीएमसी ने मुंबई सेंट्रल रेलवे स्टेशन के पास स्थित फ्लाईओवर का निर्माण रिकॉर्ड 15 महीने और छह दिनों में पूरा कर लिया।
