Amin Patel wrote a letter to the BMC Commissioner – “Allot PPP plots for municipal schools quickly. Mumbai's children should receive free and quality education.”

Maharashtra Congress Deputy Leader and MLA Amin Patel has written an important letter to Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Smt. Ashwini Bhide. In it, he has demanded that the process for converting BMC reserved plots into schools under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode be completed quickly.

In the letter, Amin Patel clearly states that the BMC has already earmarked some plots for PPP, but the process has not yet been completed.  He said:

> “Many NGOs and trusts are ready to provide free education in Mahapalika schools. Many of them are delivering excellent results, such as in Navi Mumbai and other areas. But Mumbai's actual municipal school students will only be able to receive quality education if these plots are acquired soon.”

Amin Patel also said:

- It is the BMC's responsibility to provide free and quality education to children in municipal schools.

- The PPP model can create quality schools where children from poor families can also receive a good education.

- Any pending process should be completed immediately.

 - If necessary, form a high-level committee so that decisions can be taken with the consent of all stakeholders. MLA Amin Patel appealed that this matter should be taken seriously so that lakhs of students of Mumbai can benefit.

  अमीन पटेल ने बीएमसी आयुक्त को पत्र लिखकर कहा, “नगर निगम स्कूलों के लिए पीपीपी (पब्लिक-प्राइवेट पार्टनरशिप) के तहत भूखंडों का शीघ्र आवंटन करें। मुंबई के बच्चों को मुफ्त और गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा मिलनी चाहिए।”

 महाराष्ट्र कांग्रेस के उपनेता और विधायक अमीन पटेल ने मुंबई नगर निगम आयुक्त श्रीमती अश्विनी भिडे को एक महत्वपूर्ण पत्र लिखा है। इसमें उन्होंने मांग की है कि बीएमसी द्वारा आरक्षित भूखंडों को पब्लिक-प्राइवेट पार्टनरशिप (पीपीपी) के तहत स्कूलों में परिवर्तित करने की प्रक्रिया शीघ्र पूरी की जाए।

 पत्र में अमीन पटेल ने स्पष्ट रूप से कहा है कि बीएमसी ने पीपीपी के लिए कुछ भूखंड पहले ही आरक्षित कर लिए हैं, लेकिन प्रक्रिया अभी तक पूरी नहीं हुई है। उन्होंने कहा:

  “कई गैर सरकारी संगठन और ट्रस्ट महापालिका स्कूलों में मुफ्त शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए तैयार हैं। इनमें से कई उत्कृष्ट परिणाम दे रहे हैं, जैसे कि नवी मुंबई और अन्य क्षेत्रों में। लेकिन मुंबई के वास्तविक नगर निगम स्कूल के छात्रों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा तभी मिल पाएगी जब इन भूखंडों का शीघ्र अधिग्रहण किया जाएगा।”

  अमीन पटेल ने यह भी कहा:

 नगर निगम के स्कूलों में बच्चों को मुफ्त और गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करना बीएमसी की जिम्मेदारी है।

  पीपीपी मॉडल से ऐसे गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्कूल बनाए जा सकते हैं जहां गरीब परिवारों के बच्चे भी अच्छी शिक्षा प्राप्त कर सकें।

 लंबित सभी प्रक्रियाओं को तुरंत पूरा किया जाना चाहिए।

 यदि आवश्यक हो, तो एक उच्च स्तरीय समिति का गठन किया जाए ताकि सभी हितधारकों की सहमति से निर्णय लिए जा सकें। विधायक अमीन पटेल ने अपील की कि इस मामले को गंभीरता से लिया जाए ताकि मुंबई के लाखों छात्रों को लाभ मिल सके।
