Chief Minister today inspected the proposed site and master plan for the country's first offshore airport at . On this occasion, he directed the concerned officials to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR).

Key highlights of the proposed airport: ✅ The airport will have seamless connectivity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), the Bullet Train, the Uttan–Virar Sea Link, the Mumbai–Vadodara Expressway, and the Mumbai–Ahmedabad National Highway. ✅ It will significantly boost cargo transportation to and from the Vadhvan and Murbe ports. ✅ The project will also play a crucial role in reducing the increasing passenger load on .

The inspection was attended by Minister , Minister , Member of Parliament , and senior government officials.

पालघर येथे देशातील पहिल्या प्रस्तावित ऑफशोअर विमानतळाच्या जागेची व आराखड्याची पाहणी आज मुख्यमंत्री यांनी केली. यावेळी त्यांनी संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यांना सविस्तर प्रकल्प अहवाल (DPR) तातडीने तयार करण्याचे निर्देश दिले.

या विमानतळाची प्रमुख वैशिष्ट्ये: ✅ Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), बुलेट ट्रेन, उत्तन–विरार सी-लिंक, मुंबई–वडोदरा द्रुतगती मार्ग आणि मुंबई–अहमदाबाद राष्ट्रीय महामार्गाशी उत्कृष्ट जोडणी. ✅ वाढवण व मुरबे बंदरांमधील मालवाहतुकीला मोठी चालना. ✅ वरील वाढता प्रवासी ताण कमी करण्यास मदत.
