 Mumbai News: BMC Clears Around 200 Illegal Hawkers And Unauthorised Structures Near Cooper Hospital In Andheri To Ease Traffic And Ambulance Access Mumbai, Jan 30: Around 200 illegal hawkers and unauthorised structures were evicted in Andheri West on Thursday by the BMC.  The action was taken against unauthorised hawking stalls along Ram Ganesh Gadkari Marg ( Irla Marg ) in Andheri West, connecting Swami Vivekananda Marg and Gulmohar Marg , as well as the approach road to Dr R N Cooper Hospital. Officials said the unauthorised hawkers not only obstructed traffic and pedestrian movement, but also ambulances entering the Cooper Hospital, especially during emergencies.   Mumbai News: Special PMLA Court Allows BMC To Demolish ED-Attached Minhaz Hotel In Juhu Linked To Iqbal Mirchi Mumbai, Jan 30: The Special PMLA court has allowed the BMC to demolish Minhaz Hotel in Juhu, which was attached by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) during a money laundering probe against late underworld don Iqbal Mirchi, who was said to be close to Dawood Ibrahim .   Mumbai : OC Amnesty Policy Implementation Delayed As BMC Awaits Standing Committee Sanction Mumbai, Jan 30: Mumbaikars residing in buildings without an Occupation Certificate (OC) will have to wait longer for the implementation of the new OC amnesty policy , as the BMC Mumbai administration will now require sanction from the standing committee , which is yet to be formed. Citizens can apply once the Standard Operating Procedures ( SOP ) are finalised.  As the OC amnesty policy will have a financial impact on the corporation, the standing committee’s sanction is necessary,” said a senior officer from the BMC development plan department.
